Key Issues

 One of my top priorities is tackling homelessness in our county. It’s vital to harness both private and public resources to help those experiencing homelessness transition from hopelessness to stable housing. I believe in fostering a culture of responsibility, where those who can contribute do so, while ensuring support for those who are physically or mentally unable to work. We must reconnect individuals with available resources at the federal, state, and local levels, from both public and private sectors, to build a safe and high-functioning society.

My vision for addressing homelessness is to create a safe, supportive environment where individuals can access the resources needed to secure stable housing. This includes establishing a comprehensive support system that not only provides immediate shelter and long-term housing but also connects people with essential services like mental health care, job training, and substance abuse treatment. I envision a collaborative effort involving government agencies, non-profits, and the community, all working together to address the root causes of homelessness and deliver sustainable solutions. By fostering a compassionate and inclusive community, we can ensure every individual has the opportunity to rebuild their lives and thrive.
